Delivery Information
Free Delivery is available on most products – unless stated otherwise * (excl. highlands and islands). A fee of £4.50 + VAT is applied to all orders under £50 excl. VAT unless they have have their own specific carriage terms or are listed as free delivery.
* Some items, including furniture, will be subject to their own carriage cost and are not applicable to the free delivery offer. Such costs will be listed on the product pages, or will show at the checkout page prior to ordering. Even with these carriage costs, you should still find that we are the best price in the UK (if not please contact us and we will beat any price). See our price-match promise for more information.
In some instances the following post codes may incur additional carriage charges – (AB, BT, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW, KY, ML, PA, PH, TD, TD, TR, ZE, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Eire, Greater London and Surrounding Areas).
If delivery is being made to one of the above prefixes, please contact us prior to placing your order, we can then advise whether an additional carriage cost will be required.
Please note: Oversized products requiring a crane or Hiab offload may be charged for.
Delivery will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to the GROUND FLOOR / KERBSIDE only (unless previously agreed in writing). We are unable to confirm exact delivery times, but we can usually confirm a day if you let us know in advance.
Saturday, Timed AM/PM or above Ground Floor deliveries may be available at extra cost.
If access to your chosen delivery address is difficult, for example, situated on a narrow road, please get in touch with us prior to placing your order. Due to the nature of goods; articulated vehicles are sometimes used, therefore it’s important we check with our couriers whether delivery is possible and/or if additional carriage will need to be paid. Failure to notify us could result in a re-delivery charge.
Furniture Delivery
Please note, some office furniture deliveries are delivered by a 2 man furniture delivery team and will be need to be booked in. After placing the order a member of the transport team will make contact with the contact number we have on the order, if they cannot speak to someone to make a booking then the order will be put on hold until they have confirmation. The 2 man delivery team can only take the items to Ground Floor or First Floor under the standard cost. If you need it taken to the second floor or above, please notify us prior so we can check costs.
From 1st January 2021:
As a result of the Irish Sea Border now in place; all orders to Northern Ireland will incur an additional surcharge imposed directly by courier networks. Please contact us at time of order to discuss further.
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times are displayed in working days excluding weekends & bank holidays, these are estimated not guaranteed – you can find these adjacent to the ‘add to basket’ button per each product listing.
Some ‘made to order’ products may have extended lead times due to various factors, such as increased demand, raw material supply shortages etc.
Please be aware that stock levels can change rapidly. If you have specific delivery dates and/or times that need to be met, please contact us and we will do our utmost to try and help you.
If an order requires urgent delivery, please contact us and we will see if this is feasible.
Please note:
- You or an authorised person must be present to sign for delivery.
- Failed attempts may result in a return delivery charge.
- Requesting us to leave goods without signature is entirely at your own risk (whilst we can pass this on to the courier, not all couriers will do so).
Workplace Stuff shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any delay in delivery. In particular we shall not be liable for any matter which results from any act of God, war or riot, extreme weather, strikes or any other events which are beyond our control. The company reserves the right to deliver Goods by instalments, each instalment being treated as a separate contract.
