The LRA34 extra long reach arm features pneumatic gas spring for easy and smooth movement, allowing instant floating of the mounted LED/LCD display from one position to another. The articulate arm can extend up to 1.75m/69″ (screen facing wall) or 1.85m/73″ (screen facing away from wall) 72″ (182.5cm).
The LRA34 long reach medical arm is compatible with any LED/LCD TV/Monitor if it is VESA 75 or 100 compatible (with 4 threaded holes at the back which are 75 or 100 mm apart); and weighs between 2-8kg (4.4-17.6lbs). If < 2kg, the arm pops, and if > 8kg, the arm sags.
Simply this means most latest models of 15″-32″ LCD monitors/TVs are compatible with the long reach gas arm.
The LRA34 long reach arm was designed with convenience and adjust-ability in mind. The included handle makes it very easy to pull/push the mounted TV/monitor to the desired position as well as swivel it around ±180° to face the patient or the carer. It is also easy to rotate the LCD screen around ±180° with bare hand so you can view in portrait or landscape modes, as well as tilt the TV/monitor ±45° for optimal viewing angle. The levelness can also be adjusted with a screw-driver.
When not in use, the LRA34 gas spring arm can be folded back, and the two arms can be locked together to prevent unauthorized move. The folded arm only protrudes ~15cm/6″ from the wall, an excellent space-saving feature.
