Once you have your SW20 Salt Spreaders, you’ll need a cover to ensure contents aren’t ruined in poor weather conditions; ice, rain and snow. This Rain Cover SW20-Light or SW20-C Salt Spreader is the exact perfect match. Although only an accessory; a rain cover is very beneficial due to a number of reasons. Firstly, if the grit/salt gets wet it won’t work as well because it will form in clumps, this leads nicely on to point number two. If there isn’t a cover in place the clumps might not be able to pass through the hopper, meaning you then have to waste time removing the clumped contents to ensure salt/grit distribution can go ahead.
