For use particularly when protecting vehicle forecourts, commercial premises, car parks and domestic driveways; these bollards boast a highly effective and robust structure to do the job. Made from steel which is then galvanised in zinc to prolong it’s lifespan, this retractable post is ideally placed to avoid any unwanted vehicles parking on your premises’ illegally.
The retractapost works vertically, and when raised measures at either 500mm or 745mm above ground depending on the model chosen. Requirements of the post include it being fitted below the ground’s surface, so that when lowered, it is almost completely submerged below ground level, covered with the integral lid for easy access in time for when the bollard is ready to be used again. To lock the in to position when raised, simply rotate 45 degrees and push the 7-pin high-security lock to secure.

- Recommended that posts are placed no further than 1,200m apart to ensure no vehicles can pass
- 500mm needs to have a excavated hole of 900mm deep and 300mm diameter
- 745mm requires an excavated hole of 1,200m deep and a 300mm diameter
- The lid should be no higher than 10mm above ground level due to trip hazard
- Provisions for suitable drainage must be made (chipping or similar)

Please note; When installing, the bottom of the hole should be chippings (suitable drainage) and the top of the hole should be a minimum of 300-400mm concrete.
