Description
One thing you might not think a salt spreader would be is multi-purpose. However, this particular Tow Behind Salt Spreader has the ability to be used with a number of different materials. These include seed, fertilizer, weed killer, and of course grit and rock salt. The red grit spreader is available with either a pin hitch or a tow ball attachment. This makes it suitable for use with ride-on lawnmowers and other similar vehicles of the same size. The main benefit of having a towing salt spreader as opposed to a walk behind model is coverage and efficiency. It sprays in a 360′ degree motion to ensure large areas are completely covered to avoid going back over patches.
Spreading motion of 360′ for full coverage over large areas
Freezing winter weather when snow and ice are involved is disruptive to say the least, whether it’s gritting roads, carparks, industrial yards; no one wants to be spending too long outside in the blistering cold, these effective spreaders are manufactured with a strong tubular steel frame and polypropylene dispensing hopper. In addition to this they are also fitted with an aluminium gear, adjustable feed system, heavy-duty pneumatic wheels suitable for all terrain and a rain cover.
