Prevent the unauthorised use of ladders with Ladder Lockout
Ladder lockouts can be used to restrict the use of mobile and fixed ladders for safety and security reasons, including LOTO procedures, Safe Systems of Work or Working at Height Regulations. Ladder Lockouts can prevent the use of unsafe or unchecked ladders and prevent their operation by unauthorised persons, they can also be used as an additional safeguard to prevent access to dangerous locations.

How to Use
Hook the ladder lockout over a ladder rung, positioned so that the bottom-most rung is slightly visible. The chain should then be passed through the bottom hole of the lockout and around the bottom rung, with an appropriate lockout padlock affixing to the chain as close as possible under the rung. This will prevent the ladder lockout being lifted off the ladder or any links being removed. Affix a suitable tag to ensure compliance with your LOTO procedures.
