Our Acid / Alkali Cupboard range provides storage for caustic materials in the workplace.
Not storing properly can present many hazards, particularly if acids and alkalis are stored incorrectly or with other chemicals. These cabinets enable safe and identifiable storage in the workplace. These cabinets are available in various sizes including floor cabinets, wall-mounted and mobile units.
It’s with good reason that warnings are given on hazardous substances. Corrosive materials can be very dangerous if stored incorrectly, this is especially the case for the likes of acids and alkalis. Whether kept at a science lab or laboratory; it is essential these rules or followed and/or the correct protocols are in place. Sometimes it’s a case of acids/alkalis not being suitable to store together due to possible reactions. Placing a Acid Cabinets within your premises will provide much needed peace of mind when storing chemicals.
If space is a problem, don’t let it be. We have stands available for purchase to use with the cabinets – these can be very beneficial in the event of accessibility issues or limited space. The stands give an extra height of 500mm, with adjustable feet for placement on uneven floor surfaces. Should you wish, extra shelves are also available, they are adjustable to accommodate storage of smaller/larger acids.
